Degree......get ready for me!

Wow its been 3 months exactly since my last post but Ive been really Busy working 2 jobs(one I just recently quit) and trying to figure out what I want to do in my life and in which direction I want to take it...I have been in limbo and put my education on hold for a year while I decided what kind of career I envision for myself, before taking the walk down a path I would later regret...

And that included switching my major from Finance to Criminal Justice/Public Policy...which im ecstatic to explore.....although it means having to start the majority of my pre major courses over and probably delaying my graduation another year, but its all worth it...

I have always wanted to be a lawyer, I remember sitting in my 5th grade Art class In San Antonio, and the teacher asked us to draw out our life in 20 years and what our professions would be...mine was a picture of me standing in front of a modest 2 story home with a white picket fence and me holding a law degree...So I have decided this is what I want to do with my life..so I can one day become a Prosecutor or maybe even a Judge... which would kinda rock...

So this summer once again....I will be taking classes at UNT (wow my third summer in a row taking classes at UNT) but this time they start with CJUS instead of FINA, MKTG, & BUSI

After the fall semester I have set my sights on these 5 schools

1.USC
2.SMU
3.Pepperdine
4.TCU
5.UCLA

And in that order...it most likely will Be USC but I definitely wont rule out any other decisions.....After 3 years of being in school I was beginning to get a bit bored ...But changing my major has made me all excited about school again!

After that Ive set my sights on

1.Yale Law School
2.UC-Berkeley

Ok Im pushing it but anything is possible and according to "The Secret" you have to say it to make it happen and dammit im saying it..

IM GOING TO YLS FOR MY LAW DEGREE!!!

Giselle was her name.....

Whoa Today was prob the best day of my life....so far... today while I was in Beverly Hills shopping at Niketown on Rodeo....(actually returning a $150 pair of Nike's in favor on something less expensive...settled on $85 pair of Nike shoes instead)....as Im leaving NikeTown walking across the street to Subway...(not really wanting to eat there, but do because its convenient and the place I wanted to go to was out of the way)...

A Black Escalade pulls up beside me, and I immediately knew that it was a celebrity..mainly because noone but celebs are chauffered around in those type of Escalades and not too many ppl drive escalades in LA...I dont know why celebs use those bc its so obvious

The first person to pop out of the car, was a black guy...hmmm..noone special(turns out he is a bodyguard), he was sitting in the passenger side, he then opens the back passenger door..out pops A celebrity assistant----one I know very well, because her cousin/client is one of my fav artists...My mouth dropped in disbelief because If thats the PA to the person I think it is, then the person I think it is has to be in the car.. as I anxiously wait for who I think it is to get out of the car, The driver hops out and opens the other back door...out pops a 25-ish white guy with a video camera, (and what seemed like an eternity---the last person to step foot out of the car..was ............

NONE OTHER THAN BEYONCE GISELLE KNOWLES!!!....I dropped my Mutha effin mouth and begin to shake as she fastly brisked into the salon next to me( Damone Roberts: Eyebrow Waxing, Body waxing, & Makeup Salon)

I couldnt believe it, I was so effin pissed that I didnt have my camera( Dont mention that Bitch ass camera either...lost it back in December @ UCLA, someone found it and left me a # where I could reach them, but long story short..I ended up losing that too)

Anyways I remember I had my sidekick 3, even though the pics come out grainy as hell...AND WHAT HAPPENED..my damn battery was low....wouldnt let me take any pics....So I wait for 15 mins waiting for Bey & her cousin to emerge from the shop while the bodyguard and white guy stand out side...Finallly the black escalade swirves around the corner..out walks Beyonce and her cousin Angie once again Without looking anywhere but destination escalade..as she enters the door I yell:

"Hi BEYONCE!!"

She responds: "Hi"

Waves and they jet off down Wilshire Blvd...If I had my car I would have followed them...

But most importantly Beyonce has seen me now..which is weird...this will forever be etched in my mind as they day Beyonce met me...im sure she already dont know who I am....but who cares...this was a good way to end my LA experience by meeting the celeb i wanted to see the most... Now when I blow up we gon get married..lmao

Hillary or Barrack...President & Vice President 2008

Hillary cClinton just anouned bid to join the 2008 Presidnetial whitehouse race....Im excited because she has everything it takes...and America is fed up of the Dubya Tenure which is the reason the dems had a landslide winning victory in the Senate and HR....This is our chance to have the first woman President ever!!..But will America vote for a woman Prez...esp those racists and biggots mainly from the South?

Also in legendary order..Barrack Obama is also trying to gain the Democratic Ticket...hmmm..It would be great because he would be the first Black Prez...I would love to see either of them win, but my guess is Hillary is gonna get the Democratic Party Nom...and hopefully she'll ask Barrack to join her campaign...maybe?...2008..a year of firsts or defeat?

Or Is America not ready for neither Black or Woman President?

I dont think we are...but we can all dream...but this could be the kind of race where every american pulls out all stops and everyone gets interested in voting...for or against...

Moved to another state by myself.

Out of the 12 New Years Resolutions I made for last year, only 7 were attained....Back again this year--Punctuality, Work Out More, and for the New Year, Im drinking only water, Get a Career--not a job...Career... and grow Closer to GOD

Yes My sister....I love my newphew

Astrology 2006...felt consummated in trusting my insticts after reading the excerpts

The Pursuit of Happyness Premiere

A couple days ago I got a ticket to the movie premiere of "The Pursuit of Happyness"//// There are ussually only 2 places that movie premieres happen in Hollywood....One is at the Kodak Theater in Dtwown LA and the other is Westwood Village in Westwood.....In Westwood ppl are always giving freee movie passes to see a movie...Ive recieved a few, but never actually went....I had planned on seeing this movie...but changed my mind bc ..the theater line was across the street and around the block...and I wanted to see some celebrities...so I went to the fan brigade instead....where I stood by the loooniest bunch of ppl ive ever met....these ppl have no lives...have 100's of celebs' pics...argue over what car tom Cruise drove to the premiere, calling celebs bitches, snobby hoes, dumb asses, pushing me, almost knocking over the barricade...and screaming in my mutherfuckin ear...WILLL..JADA....TERRENCE.....u get the drift...

Next up the Dreamgirls LA premiere at Wilshire Theater....

Of course Beyonce, Jamie, and Eddie and this time more stars will be there

Makes me forget of the hated in the world

While I was out meeting Brad Pitt(yes really did!) this past Sunday...I began to think about Angelina and the Bradster..and Maddox, Shiloh, and Zahara

I love Angelina and Madonna for doing something worthwhile and I applaud them for their humanitarian efforts and definitely need more like them...Esp after Madonna said recently while walking down the street some ppl asked her:

"Why did you adopt a black child?"

WTF...I am a very firm believer that we still live in a very racist world, it just disappoints me

Love this though

Also...got to shake hands with Brad Pitt at the Westwood Babel premiere....looks a little leaner and shorter in person...but it felt surreal...like I was still watching him on TV.....was weird....but stll exciting

Wow..I cant believe its already November, this year really flew by fastly, its like I dont really even remember any of it....

But the last two months happen to be my favorite time of the year...spring being my fav season...But Christmas being my favorite holiday...I love this time of year..it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside...just like hot chocolate, warm fireplaces,black and white movies from the 40's & 50's, and Oprah.......speaking of the 50's I wish I would have been alive then,---not to experience the hard oppression ppl of my skin color faced, but the 50's that is shown on Tv has being a care free, gay ol' time......you know I love Lucy, Shirley Temple,---that era....

But back to the Holidays...I love this time of year, family, friends, celebration, gifts, and memories.....This year I cannot wait until the season rolls around bc I will finally get to see friends and family for the first time since august....and I cant wait to buy gifts...I get a high--lol..--literally buying gifts for other ppl and thinking of how they would react to them....

Im so excited..and I just cant hide it, Im about to lose control and I think I like it

A famous celeb almost ran me over!

Today, since I didnt have any work or school, I set off on a journey to see some Celebs...you know hit up the usuals, Robertson, The Ivy, Malibu, Dan Tana's, West Hollywood, Rodeo, Sunset

My day started at home in Westwood, which led me to Santa Monica, and was supposed to lead me to Malibu but my plans didnt go accordingly.....so I end up in West Hollywood...where stars inhabit...but because of the Halloween parade tonight..95% of the stores and streets were closed..meaning noone was on them......

SO that led me to Bev Hills where the traffic was directed as well, and as Im walking alongside of all the cars...who do I see sitting in a Ford Expedition...Michael Ealy...talking on his phone and as I get to the intersection of Beverly and Sunset, just as I am about to cross the street, a Silver Range Rover pulls right out in front of me and almost runs me over!

I then glance at the driver looking pissed off, and the driver then rollsa down the window and mouths im sorry while on her sidekick....who was it? ...Paris Damn Hilton....almost hit me

I just laughed it off then, but I wishe she would have hit me...I would have been paid(show up in court with knee,neck and leg braces) and famous...

After that I decided to go home, mainly bc It was 5 pm and in LA its gets dark quick.....

BUT who would have though I would almost get run over by Paris Hilton?

Celeb Sighting # 4 and # 5

Ok its been a few days since I ve seen this celebrity...I didnt post right away bc I was in shock and still am...

Well on Saturday October 28 th around 2:18 pm, I am walking from the parking lot to the back entrance of my place of employment...as I turn the corner, I see a black woman who looks very familiar...like I think I know her from somewhere.......As I approach the back door where this woman is standing,(waiting for her bf or assitant), As I walk towards the door she opens it for me....ANd to my effin fucking(I have to say the real word) suprise ...there she is standing, holding the door for me----a very famous tennis superstar....who was it ----Serena Williams!!!

My jaw literally dropped as I said very timidly "Are you Se-Serena"...she replys with a very frank and WTF looking "yes"...and Im like OMG I cant believe this is you and m actually talking to you and youre actually holding the door open for me!

Soon came her bf or assistant..with that bad ass dog she has(if you have seen The williams' sisters reality show you would know what Im talking about)....As we all walk in together our friendly chat is cut short by a freaking customer asking me a fucking question....meanwhile Serena and the guy walks off.....

Note:

-Her hair was a little nappy
-She looks much lighter in complexion in person
- She's not as muscular as you would think
-She's tall as hell around the same height as me, maybe even an inch taller so 5'11 or 6ft

Im still reminiscing about the time I met Serena Williams.......

Today on my lunch break at work, I am walking from Diddy Reese and I see a red carpet with cameras flashing--its a movie premiere in Westwood, (about 3 blocks from my home and 5 blocks from my job) for "Stranger than Fiction", as Im eating my delicious Ice Cream...I walk past None other than Will Ferrell, Dustin Hoffman, and Emma Thompson signing autographs for fans...and I just stare in disbelief for 10 mins and then realize I need to get back to work...so I leave and bask in the celebrity afterglow....LMAO

After leaving work, I find out that Kelly Rowland and Michelle WIlliams of Destiny's Child was there.....and I didnt even see them....pissed:(

Welcome back cousin!

There has been a new addition to my family..and this one is much improved and hella better than its predecessor
and $50 cheaper with the same GB

As you may know I lost my last ipod nano at the airport last year....

At the time I lost It, it eventually ended up looking like this...with only half of the screen showing and the rotator sometimes got stuck mid rotate

Because of this...and thousands of customers complaining of the cheap quality, Apple went back into the lab and produced an Ipod with much better quality and theyve earned my dollar back....

Titties popping out everywhere!

Why does this always happen to me....Everytime I go somewhere a tittie pop out...First at the age of 16 and more frequently in Santa Monica...All I see are titties everywhere...not the standard titties but baby milking titties..

Why do women have to breastfeed in public?.. I mean I know its human nature and all and breast milk may be more beneficial to the children..BUT when youre in public bring that nigga a bottle of milk...do that other ish in private.....

Me of all ppl should want to get a glimpse, but not no droopy lactaiding titties...no way...

OH No she didnt!

WHy as Im walking down Westwood Blvd crossing the intersection of Westwood and Le Conte, I hear this white girl say to a male counterpart.."OMG there goes FANTASIA!"....She said it so loudly that I turn around to see Fantasia and what do I see? The white girl and her friend looking at me! Im looking for Fantasia, theyre looking at me...I think to myself...I know she wasnt talking about me?...because for one...I dont look like Fantasia, two...Fantasia is a girl, and three I DONT LOOK LIKE NO FUCKING FANTASIA!!!!......either Fantasia looks like a man or I look like a girl....

I cant help but think that this all started back in July when this lady told me "You're Very Pretty"....im still confused

So far my celeb sightings have been D-LIst...maybe even Z list ...and were gonna contnue the trend...Yesterday Lauren from the First 2 seasons of Laguna Beach was in my store...it was move in day at UCLA her sister was moving in and they came to buy a few things...it was just too weird seeing someone you watch on TV....

Celebrity Sighting # 2 ...well sorta

Today I show up for work around 10 am and about 10:30 in walks a guy who U overlook as U normally do all customers(Bad I Know) but he walks in front of me, and goes to pick up an item. meanwhile im busy with a customer and once im finished, up walks a guy...known for hanging with Dr. Dre and Tupac....no it wasnt Snoop....but Suge Knight....yes he came into my store in Westwood....whuch he normally visits as the employees tell me.....last time he reportedely returned some Tissue....but as he walks up to me....I am frightened...because he is known to be violent....as in holding a famous rap artist over an 8 story high rise building threatening to drop him....but this time he was on the phone.....but he was suprisingly mellow....not as bugand not as scary as the media seems to portray him...

For the record he bought Hanes underwear(for who, U dont know) Razors, and Milk.....

Celebrity Sighting!

Ok...so yesterday I was casually walking down Westwood Blvd eating my Diddy Riese(explain later) and I looked down to dig into another scoop and as I look back up ...there it was, standing in the midst of about three autograph seekers. There stood a Desparate Housewifes cast member, Not Eva, Not Teri, Nor Marcia or NIcolette....damn not even Jesse...but James Denton(you know the plumber guy)...It was weird bc It was unexpected, he looks alot older and alot shorter in person---were about the same height..I didnt ask for an autograph because ....mainly I really didnt want one...if it were Beyonce it would have been another story...

More Important news...

Diddy Riese...is the best damn bakery/ ice cream shop in LA....they combine cookies and ice cream in a traditional yet conventional way ..for $1.25 you choose two deliciously homemade warm cookies of your choice, and an ice cream scoop of your choice to smash in between them...to make an ice cream sandwich but oh so better than anything you could ever experience..This deserves to be on Oprah's favorite things list...you may have to wait in an American Idol Audition type line to get in bc on the Bel-Air/Beverly Hills customers, but its worth the wait...

My favorite combo....two White Chocolate Macadamian Nut cookies combined with Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream =magnifico!

Whitney Houston-Brown no longer!

Its Official Whitney Houston just filed for divorce from Mr. Whitney Houston, aka Bobby Brown...all I could say was about damn time...I hope they had a prenup because Bobby hasnt really made any money, his career was over when they got married....Uh OH..its about to get ugly in here.
